Plaquenil and Pregnancy rheumatoid I was on plaquenil and remicade before getting pregnant but stopped remicade a few months ago and I’m currently waiting to start Cimzia which is safer for pregnancy and breastfeeding. My symptoms are currently very mild and baby is doing fine. My first pregnancy I took nothing but a very low dose of prednisone and baby was perfectly healthy.
